Excellence in Training has established itself at the forefront of Irish health & fitness today.Our highly experienced staff are constantly researching new methods globally.We also offer assistance in motivation, diet, and relaxation techniques as part of your workout experience.We can also help with sports injury.

About our founder: Tony Devine

Tony has over 30 years of competition training experience in Ireland and internationally.
His childhood was spent in badminton, volleyball and pitch & putt competition, followed by an early and mid-teens spent in body-building and using weight resistance training for power, strength and endurance competitions.The mid and later teens, and in fact last 25 years have been spent in boxing & martial arts competition, training & coaching.

He was a winner and 2nd place in the Dublin & Leinster Intermediate Boxing Championships, he took three months away from boxing to win the Under 21 IFBB Spring classic in Bodybuilding. He subsequently spent ten years karate competiton and is a holder of two ONAKAI All-Ireland karate gold medals in WKF kumite.The WKF style is the nominated Olympic karate style which he teaches weekly.He has brought many students from the ages of 8 and 30 years, up to similar national gold medal winning standards in boxing and karate.

In the Empire State Building Run-Up in 2001, he was unranked which meant he had to start in 81st position of 160 runners from wordwide and he finished in the top 30.He was a qualifier in the Gladiators UK 2004 competition (only 100 people from 16,000 managed this), unfortunately he wasn't chosen for the TV show. He works with adults & adolecents daily, helping them to achieve success in the own particular area of sports.

He also works as a strength and conditioning coach nationally & internationally,and takes time to advise Football and Rugby coaches in Ireland on the best strength and conditioning practises and the best speed and agility practices available.He teaches self-defence weekly and still practices a number of martial arts styles, remember there are relaxation and motivational practices into all his routines, great gains can made made mentally as well as physically at EIT, your personal training partner.

This was our stand at the recent "Just for Kids" show at the RDS in May 2013.It was a great chance to talk to parents about their personal training needs and also discuss athletic development and "Making the Team" training for their teenagers.
